Restart of the Award Ceremony for the International Projection Mapping Competition not held in September!

The Governor of Tokyo, Yuriko Koike, will present the brilliant Award Ceremony for the GRAND PRIZE and other award-winning creators from overseas (Nov.13th)

The Projection Mapping Association of Japan (Headquarters: Shibuya, Tokyo; Representative Director: Michiyuki Ishita) has announced the 1minute Projection Mapping Competition, one of the world’s largest international projection mapping competitions (hereinafter referred to as “The International Competition”) which was cancelled in September 2022 due to the effects of a typhoon, which will be held on November 13th (Sun) at Meijijingu Gaien Memorial Picture Gallery.
For this day, the creators who won each award (Hungary, Germany and Ukraine 1 award, Thailand 2 awards) will come to Japan for the Award Ceremony. During this ceremony, the Governor of Tokyo, Yuriko Koike, will also serve as a presenter for the GRAND PRIZE / TOKYO GOVERNOR PRIZE Award and will give to the winner a prize plate. Some judges of the competition will also be present.

1minute Projection Mapping Competition, one of the world’s largest international projection mapping competition whose schedule was partially canceled in September 2022 due to a typhoon, will screen once again at Meijijingu Gaien a total of 21 works, including the works of 19 finalists and 2 invited creators for 3 days from November 11th (Fri) to 13th (Sun) 2022.
