~For the first time, all 18 finalists from 14 countries gather at TOKYO LIGHTS!~

The Projection Mapping Association of Japan (Headquarters: Shibuya, Tokyo; Representative Director: Michiyuki Ishita) coordinate and will hold the 12th 1minute Projection Mapping Competition (hereafter, the International Competition), a world-class international competition originating from Japan. The award ceremony will take place on Monday, September 16th (Monday, national holiday) 2024.

Shigekix (associated with the Japanese company Dai-ichi Life), who was the flag bearer at the opening ceremony of the Paris Olympics and placed 4th in the men’s breaking competition, and Mori Hikaru (associated with the Japanese company TOKIO Inkarami and Kanazawa Gakuin University Club), who placed 6th in the women’s trampoline competition, have been selected as presenters.

This time, all the finalist teams, 18 teams from 14 countries around the world, have been confirmed to come to Japan. The event will be held with a spectacular lineup, including Harry Sugiyama and Shibuya Aki, as hosts.

This international competition will take place over 3 days from Saturday, September 14th to Monday, September 16th (national holiday). There will be a free-standing area, but if you reserve and purchase a paid ticket, you can enjoy the powerful video works while seated in the bleachers. Please check the ticket information for details. We are looking forward to seeing many people coming.

This international competition will continue to be held as the main content of the light festival “TOKYO LIGHTS,” which has become a new light spectacle in Tokyo, just like the previous one.
