~ The world's largest international projection mapping competition has been held at the Seitoku Memorial Picture Gallery, and the history and evolution of the competition over the past four years have been condensed into a series of screenings from November 7 to 10, 2012.
TOKYO LIGHTS 2024 -Autumn Party- will be held at Meiji Jingu Gaien from Thursday, November 7 to Sunday, November 10, 2024. The “3D Anaglyph Projection Mapping” will be screened as the main program of the "TOKYO LIGHTS 2024 -Autumn Party-".
This film is a remastered version of "Tokyo Nights Brights," which was screened as the special opening film of TOKYO LIGHTS 2021. Special 3D glasses will be distributed to visitors with Mapping Area Chair Seats and Mapping Area Premium Table Seats tickets to provide a powerful visual experience (not available for visitors with TOKYO LIGHTS 2024 admission tickets).
In the chair and premium table seating ticket areas, FreFlow®︎ penlights linked to the show will be available for rent at the same time, allowing visitors to enjoy a more realistic performance during the opening show (penlights must be returned upon leaving the venue).
For the November event, a kitchen car will be set up next to the mapping area, so visitors can enjoy projection mapping while eating and drinking at seats or tables. Please refer to the event overview for the screening program and ticket purchase.
This international competition has been planned and held by the Projection Mapping Association of Japan (headquartered in Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; Michiyuki Ishida, President) since 2012, and will be held for four years from 2021 as the main content of "TOKYO LIGHTS," Tokyo's new light festival.
