▼ Overall Competition Producer/Chief Judge Michiyuki Ishi Overall Evaluation

This year's theme, "Mirror," poses the question of what we see and what we believe. Grand Prix winner Kentaro Tanaka created an outstanding work despite this being his first attempt at age 24. Personally, I am delighted that a Japanese artist has won the Grand Prix for the first time in 11 years. Furthermore, this year saw the largest gathering of creators to date, with 17 groups participating. I am grateful to have shared this occasion with all of you. I look forward to the next exhibition in November.
