About TOKYO LIGHTS 2023

Launched in 2021, TOKYO LIGHTS is a light event that sends a message to the future as a new Tokyo tradition. The 'LIGHTS' in TOKYO LIGHTS embodies multiple meanings: 'Vision' representing future possibilities, 'Advanced Technology' showcasing expressive techniques, 'Talent' referring to the next generation, and 'Community' nurturing and gathering these elements. By gathering these 'lights' and harnessing their chemical reaction, we deliver a shining message of hope from Tokyo to the world.

TOKYO LIGHTS will feature an international convention at the Seitoku Memorial Picture Gallery and a "Festival of Light" combining light art and music at the Meiji Jingu Gaien General Baseball Stadium Softball Stadium, allowing visitors to enjoy the entire venue.

About TOKYO LIGHTS "Festival of Light Area

The "Festival of Light Area" will offer a wide variety of experiences throughout the entire area, with advanced entertainment arranged to take visitors on a journey through an extraordinary world of light. Top creators, including Minoru Fujimoto, the "Choreographer of Light," who has created LED effects for the opening ceremonies of international events, will join forces to create a festival of light.

The production concept is "LINK TOKYO. The attraction of Tokyo, illuminated by various lights, will be connected and its future and happiness will be conveyed to the world.

Artist Ray Kunimoto is also in charge of composing the theme music that will be played throughout the area. The music will create an intimate connection between the audience, who will appreciate the area and listen to the music, and the space in which the artwork itself is placed. In addition, the entire space will be produced by IMAGICA EEX Corporation, a company that creates unprecedented live entertainment and new experience spaces by utilizing advanced visual and cutting-edge technology.

In addition to an immersive entertainment space combining digital sound art and real performances that boldly utilize the venue, visitors can also enjoy food and drinks.
