Kabuki actor Matsuya Onoe has been appointed as the 2022 official ambassador of TOKYO LIGHTS, a festival of light that sends a message to the future as a new tradition in Tokyo.

The "1 Minute Projection Mapping Competition," an international projection mapping competition organized by the Projection Mapping Association of Japan (PMAJ) since 2012 and now in its 10th year, will be held at the outer garden of Meiji Jingu Shrine from September 17 to 19 as the main content of "TOKYO LIGHTS" again this year, following last year.
