About TOKYO LIGHTS

TOKYO LIGHTS 2022-International Projection Mapping Competition

TOKYO LIGHTS," which began in 2021, is a festival of light that sends a message to the future as a new tradition in Tokyo.

LIGHTS" in TOKYO LIGHTS has various meanings such as "vision" for future possibilities, "advanced" for expressive technology, "human resources" for the future, and "community" to nurture and gather them. This event gathers these "lights" and delivers a message of hope shining from Tokyo to the world through their chemical reactions.

The centerpiece of the event will be one of the world's largest international projection mapping competitions, where works from around the world will be projected onto the huge, historic building of the Seitoku Memorial Picture Gallery, providing a rare opportunity to experience an overwhelming, high-quality visual experience.

In the Festival of Light area, light art and advanced entertainment content will be arranged to take visitors on a journey through an extraordinary world of light, offering a wide variety of experiences throughout the entire area.
