Competition of projection mapping works from 1 minute to 1 minute and 59 seconds
The 10th "1 Minute Projection Mapping Competition in TOKYO" will be held again this year.
We invite creators from all over the world to submit their video works!

The theme for this year's commemorative 10th conference is,

LIFE

With the development of technology, which is a remarkable progress in modern society, we have overcome many obstacles, our life expectancy has increased, and our work and living styles have changed in many ways.
On the other hand, however, the world is still in the grip of sad news as another conflict has erupted this year, in addition to the still-unresolved COVID-19 outbreak.

Our views of life and death, life and work have changed dramatically.

We live in an age when people's hearts are shaken both mentally and physically. We are looking for works that include messages, visions, and questions about "LIFE" as envisioned by creators.

【 Projection Mapping Venue and Building Size 】
・Meiji Jingu Gaien, Seito Memorial Art Museum
・Size of the building serving as the projection surface: Width 112m, Height 32.1m (central dome apex) 

【 Regarding the Number of Films Screened 】
Finalists' works: Approximately 20 works planned

【 About the Awards and Supplementary Prizes 】 
・Grand Prize: 2 million yen, trophy, additional prizes, and an invitation to participate as a guest artist in the next competition
・Runner-up Prize: ¥500,000, trophy, and additional prizes
・Special Jury Prize: ¥200,000, trophy, and additional prizes
・Organizer's Award: ¥100,000, trophy, and additional prizes
・Audience Award: ¥100,000, trophy, and additional prizes 
Finalists will receive a subsidy for production costs or accommodation when they come to Japan.

【 Application Period 】
Entry begins: Thursday, April 28, 2022
Entry deadline: Thursday, June 23, 2022 (until 23:59:59 Japan time) 
Video data delivery: Monday, July 18, 2022 (by 23:59:59 Japan time) 
Primary video screening: Tuesday, July 19, 2022 - Tuesday, July 19, 2022
Finalist works will be announced in early August.
Final video data delivery: Friday, August 19, 2022 (by 23:59:59 Japan time) 

Screening of finalists' works and announcement of screening results: Scheduled for mid-September, 2022
