1 Minute Projection Mapping“ is one of Asia's largest international projection mapping competitions with a long history, which started in 2012. This year's event, the first to be held in Tokyo, will be the main program of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government's ”Festival of Light," the first "TOKYO LIGHTS".
The theme of this year's competition was "HOPE" and 246 entries were received from 54 countries and regions around the world. 19 finalists were selected through the preliminary screening. The finalists' works will be screened on the canvas of the Seitoku Memorial Picture Gallery for four days from December 9, and the Grand Prix (Tokyo Governor's Prize), Runner-up Grand Prix (TOKYO LIGHTS Prize), Jury's Special Prize, TOKYO TOKYO TOKYO Prize, and the Audience Prize by web voting will be decided at the public screening on the final day, December 12. The Grand Prix (Tokyo Governor's Award), Runner-up Grand Prix (TOKYO LIGHTS Award), Jury's Special Award, TOKYO TOKYO Award, and the Audience Award by web voting will be decided. The event will be broadcast LIVE to the entire world.
Tickets for the venue are available from the official TOKYO LIGHTS website. Films can also be viewed online, and anyone is welcome to participate in the voting. Let's make the first Tokyo event exciting together!

■About TOKYO LIGHTS

TOKYO LIGHTS“ was launched as a ”Festival of Light" to bring hope to the world through entertainment and art, and to light up the world-class international city of Tokyo. The "1 Minute Projection Mapping", one of Asia's largest international projection mapping competitions, as well as the futuristic fireworks entertainment "STAR ISLAND" team, will be presented in a completely new way, combining realistic performers, video technology, and cutting-edge fiber beam technology. The event is expected to draw approximately 35,000 spectators over the four-day period.
